This page explains the cookies and similar storage this website uses.
Strictly necessary
The site remembers your cookie choice in your browser's local storage under the name gs-consent. Without it, we would have to ask you on every visit. It contains only your choice and never leaves your browser.
Two more entries remember things for your browser alone. If you pick light or dark with the switch in the header, local storage keeps that choice under gs-theme. The opening animation plays once per visit: session storage notes that it has played under gs-intro, and your browser clears it when you close the tab. Neither is sent to us.
Analytics (only if you accept)
If you choose "Accept analytics", the site loads Google Analytics, which sets cookies such as _ga and ga* to distinguish visitors and sessions, kept for up to two years. IP addresses are anonymised. If you choose "Essential only", or make no choice, Google Analytics is not loaded at all.
Changing your mind
Use "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page (it is there whenever the site uses analytics) to change your choice at any time. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser's settings.
